Highly recommend! Best food we had in the US so far, after traveling for two weeks, and the staff was super friendly and helpfull. We were five people and all of us tried different foods from the menu, and everything was lovely. The ribs and the grits with shrimp were magic. My son by accident left his backpack, and when we turned back to get it, the owner came running out to give it to us. Will definently visit again!

If you find yourself near Plymouth NC, plan a stop at Rosie's Tasty Kitchen, your taste buds will thank you! My husband & I got their oxtails, they were falling off the bone tender & full of flavor. We had cabbage, okra, mac & cheese & onion rings for sides. Never had better mac & cheese at a restaurant, cabbage a little sweet & not overcooked, okra was perfect. They serve generous portions & it's a great place to stop if you're on your way to catch the Swan Quarter Ferry. Just go.

This is that one of a kind excellent restaurant. Three generations, Mom, Grandma, and the Son, have this figured out. If you're on the way to the Outer Banks, plan to stop at Rosie's. I got the Cajun shrimp with collards and fried okra, and it was absolutely delicious. They asked how hot on the shrimp, and I said seven. They raised an eyebrow, so I said 5 or 6?. A few minutes later, he comes out with a single shrimp, basked in the Cajun spices. I asked him to kick it up one notch, and he did. Dinner came about 20 minutes later. One of the best meals I've ever had. The collards were leafs, with some very thinly sliced onion. The okra perfectly crunchy and tender in the middle. Cajun shrimp on a bed of rice. I took home Grandma's lemon pound cake. The real deal with an incredibly extensive menu. Stop on the way to Nags Head area. A hole in the wall that's a jewel.

We had a great dinner tonight passing through town. If we lived in Plymouth we’d eat here all the time. My husband and I got the ribs and collards with cornbread. Our friends got the baked chicken, rice, collards and sweet potatoes. We ate outside this beautiful evening. Fast and friendly service.

Amazing food! You can definitely tell they put love into what they do. Stopped here on a road trip and loved it. I was a little worried as it wasn't busy and building wasn't refined and the bathroom was a little dirty, but man I was blown away by that food. Will definitely want to come here again

From the moment you walk in, the aroma of slow-cooked meats, buttery cornbread, and rich spices fills the air, setting the stage for an unforgettable meal. My husband and I went on a business trip to Plymouth NC from Manchester CT and finding this restaurant was amazing! The Oxtail, Cajun Shrimp, Mac n cheese was pure indulgence, cornbread, ribs with each bite, giving way to juicy, tender meat seasoned to absolute perfection. The collard greens, slow-cooked with just the right amount of smoky, savory flavor that keeps you coming back for more. Service was just as exceptional as the food, family business with Mom, daughter and grandson making sure the food was to our expectations. They made us feel like family from the moment you step inside. This is a must visit restaurant! From Sezer & Noraliz :)
